This Cover Story Feature Sharing Contract is entered into between Becoming Her Magazine, herein referred to as "Becoming Media," and between the cover story feature.

1. Purpose of Contract
The purpose of this Contract is to ensure the mutual agreement and understanding between Becoming Media and the Cover Story Feature regarding the sharing of featured content on social media platforms.
​
2. Sharing Obligations
a. Becoming Media agrees to provide the Cover Story Feature with a designated feature article.
b. The Cover Story Feature agrees to share the feature article on their main feed on social media platforms within 48 hours of receiving the feature from Becoming Media.
c. The Cover Story Feature agrees to keep the feature article on their main feed for a minimum of 30 days. If our team discovers that the feature article has been removed before the end of this 30-day period, the article will be deleted from all Becoming Media platforms, and the Cover Story Feature will be placed on a blacklist, prohibiting any future features on any Becoming Media platforms.
d. Sharing the feature article only in your stories, which are available for only 24 hours, will result in the article being deleted and removed from our platform. According to Becoming Media policies, all sharing must be done on the main feed. If this commitment is too demanding, we are not the right platform for you.

3. Notification
a. Becoming Media shall notify the Cover Story Feature via email upon sharing the feature.
​
4. Right of Removal
a. If the Cover Story Feature fails to share the feature on its main feed within 48 hours of receipt, and if Becoming Media does not observe the feature shared within a reasonable time frame, Becoming Media reserves the right to remove the feature from its platform.
b. If the Cover Story Feature removes the feature article from their main feed before the end of the 30-day period, Becoming Media will remove the article from its platform and place the Cover Story Feature on a blacklist, prohibiting any future features on any Becoming Media platforms. Our team works hard on all cover features, and if a feature cannot respect our platform and work, then there is no need for it to remain on our website.
c. Becoming Media reserves the right to remove the feature from its platform if the Cover Story Feature engages in any behavior or activity that negatively impacts the reputation or integrity of Becoming Media.
d. Becoming Media reserves the right to remove any cover story that no longer aligns with our brand. As a God-affirming brand, we have core values that we take seriously, and any feature that conflicts with these values may be removed.

5. Exclusivity
a. Both parties agree that this Contract does not grant exclusivity rights to either party. Becoming Media reserves the right to feature other content creators, and the Cover Story Feature is not obligated to exclusively share content from Becoming Media.

6. Positive Representation
6.1 The Magazine commits to using the images and content associated with the Featured Party in a positive light, consistent with the Magazine's core values.
​
7. Moral Clause
7.1 In the event that the Featured Party is involved in a situation that could reasonably be considered detrimental to the Magazine's reputation, brand image, or core values, the Magazine reserves the right to detach itself from the Featured Party and terminate this Agreement without any further obligations.
​
8. Governing Law
8.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia.
9. Entire Agreement
9.1 This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between both parties.

10. Photo Release
​
10.1 The Featured Individual hereby grants Becoming Her Magazine (hereinafter referred to as "the Magazine") permission to use, reproduce, and distribute any photographs, images, or visual content provided by the Featured Individual in connection with the Feature and Article. This includes but is not limited to photographs submitted for the Feature, photographs taken during any related photo shoots, and any other visual content associated with the Feature.

10.2 The Magazine may use the photographs and visual content for promotional purposes, including but not limited to marketing, social media, website content, and public relations. The Magazine may also use these photographs in the context of the Feature and Article in the magazine.
​
10.3 The Featured Individual represents and warrants that they have obtained all necessary permissions and rights for the use of the photographs and visual content provided to the Magazine and that such use does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights of any third party.
​
10.4 The Featured Individual acknowledges that the Magazine may edit or modify the photographs and visual content as necessary to align with the Magazine's style and editorial guidelines while making reasonable efforts to maintain the essence and integrity of the Featured Individual's story and message.

18.5 The Magazine shall provide appropriate credit to the Featured Individual when using their photographs and visual content, whenever feasible.
​
10.6 The Featured Individual shall have the right to request the removal of specific photographs or visual content from the Magazine's promotional materials by providing written notice to the Magazine. The Magazine shall make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests.
​
10.7 This Photo Release clause shall be in effect for the duration specified in the contract and shall survive the termination of the Agreement.
11. Photographer Credit Information
​
11.1 The Featured Individual acknowledges and agrees that they are responsible for providing all necessary information to ensure proper credit is given to the photographer(s) associated with the photographs and visual content provided for the Feature and Article.
11.2 The Featured Individual shall promptly provide the following information to Becoming Her Magazine:
- The full name of the photographer(s) or the photography studio.
- Any relevant social media handles or website links associated with the photographer(s) for proper tagging and attribution.
- Any additional details requested by the Magazine for accurate photographer credit.

11.3 The Featured Individual understands that providing accurate photographer credit is essential to recognizing the creative contributions of the photographer(s) and maintaining ethical and professional standards in the publication.
​
11.4 Becoming Her Magazine shall make reasonable efforts to ensure that proper credit is given to the photographer(s) as provided by the Featured Individual. However, the accuracy of the information provided by the Featured Individual is their responsibility.
​
12. Spiritual and Feature Content Clause
​
12.1 Spiritual Affirmation: Becoming Her Magazine (BHM) proudly affirms its commitment to a God-affirming brand identity. The Magazine does not support or endorse content that conflicts with this spiritual affirmation.
​
12.2. Feature Content Restrictions: The Featured Individual acknowledges and understands that BHM adheres to specific content guidelines that align with its God-affirming brand. As such, certain topics, communities, or practices may not be featured or endorsed by the Magazine.
​
12.3. Content Exclusions The Magazine explicitly reserves the right to refrain from featuring content related to specific topics, communities, or practices that are inconsistent with its spiritual values. This may include but is not limited to, content pertaining to spiritual practices or beliefs that do not align with the Magazine's God-affirming stance.
​
12.4. Understanding and Agreement: By entering into this agreement, the Featured Individual acknowledges their understanding of BHM's spiritual affirmation and content restrictions. The Featured Individual agrees not to submit content that falls outside the parameters set forth by the Magazine.
​
12.5. Magazine's Right to Decline: BHM retains the right to decline or omit content that, in its sole discretion, is deemed inconsistent with its God-affirming brand identity. In such cases, the magazine may provide the Featured Individual with the option to modify the content to meet the specified guidelines.
​
13. Photo Submission Clause
​
13.1 The Featured Individual acknowledges and agrees that the responsibility for providing high-quality images is exclusively vested in the Featured Individual. It constitutes a binding contractual obligation for the Featured Individual to submit a minimum of 4 and up to 8 high-resolution images, featuring themselves and/or their products. There is a distinct preference for images that have not been extensively shared on social media.

13.2 The Featured Individual comprehends that the quality of the submitted images holds substantial weight in shaping the overall presentation of their article. This impact extends across various platforms, including but not limited to our official website (becominghermagazine.com) and diverse social media channels.
​
13.3 The Featured Individual is hereby formally notified that our editorial team will refrain from issuing follow-up emails soliciting high-quality photos. It is incumbent upon the Featured Individual to ensure the prompt and satisfactory submission of the requisite images.
​
13.4 Becoming Her Magazine affirms, in unequivocal terms, that our editorial team shall abstain from sourcing images from social media or other external platforms for the enhancement of the Featured Individual's article. The utilization of images strictly adheres to the materials provided by the Featured Individual.
​
13.5 Refer to Section 3.2 of the contract, "Image Quality Requirement," which underscores the critical importance of image quality in this agreement. The Magazine's editorial team refrains from sourcing alternative images, emphasizing the Featured Individual's

14. Name Notification Clause
​
14.1 The Featured Individual explicitly acknowledges and agrees that the responsibility to communicate any alternative names rests solely with them.
​
14.2 The Featured Individual undertakes the obligation to promptly notify Becoming Her Magazine of any variations in names by which they may be known.
​
14.3 Becoming Her Magazine will rely exclusively on the information furnished by the Featured Individual regarding alternative names.
​
14.4 The Magazine shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from the Featured Individual's failure to disclose alternative names.
​
14.5 This Name Notification Clause is deemed integral to the overall contractual agreement between the Featured Individual and Becoming Her Magazine.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned parties have executed this Agreement as of the Effective Date.

Electronic Signature:
Both parties acknowledge and agree that this Agreement may be executed and delivered electronically. Electronic signatures, whether digital or scanned, shall be considered valid and have the same legal effect as original signatures.
