Called for More: The Release & Re-Up Is the Pause You Didn’t Know You Needed Before the Year Ends

Becoming Her Magazine Logo

There’s something sacred about the space between endings and beginnings.

The quiet moments when the year hasn’t fully closed, but the next one hasn’t arrived yet. When you’re holding gratitude in one hand and exhaustion in the other. When you know you’ve grown—but you’re still carrying things that were never meant to follow you forward.

That’s where Called for More: Release & Re-Up meets you.

Happening today, December 28, from 4:00–8:00 PM in McDonough, Georgia, this elevated end-of-year gathering is designed for women who want to be intentional about how they close one chapter and step into the next. Not rushed. Not performative. Just real.

This isn’t another networking event where you have to prove yourself or posture for the room. Release & Re-Up is an invitation to exhale.

To pause. To reflect. To reset with clarity.

A Night Rooted in Reflection and Renewal

The evening centers around fireside conversations featuring Lisa Marie Lovett, Candace Holyfield Parker, and Hazel Atkinson-Brown—women whose lived experiences, wisdom, and transparency create space for honest dialogue. Their conversations are grounded, reflective, and rooted in resilience, offering perspective for anyone navigating transition, growth, or recalibration.

You’ll also experience a wellness and resilience panel that doesn’t shy away from vulnerability. This is a room where truth is welcomed. Where strength and softness coexist. Where women are allowed to be both accomplished and still becoming.

Connection Without Performance

And in between the meaningful moments? Joy.
