“You may not have seen the value, but you were still featured—because we believe in amplifying women’s voices, whether they realize it or not. Our impact speaks for itself, and we’re just getting started!” - Crystal Jordan
Two years. Over 300 women’s voices amplified. Countless stories of resilience, entrepreneurship, leadership, and power shared. And yet, despite all of this, our value is being questioned.
Recently, someone who was featured in Becoming Her Magazine—someone for whom we planned an entire shoot, invested our resources, and provided a platform to shine—stated that they don’t see the value in our brand. That hit different.
As a co-founder, I pour my heart and soul into Becoming Her Magazine. We started as a vision to create a space where real women—not just celebrities—could share their journeys, impact, and expertise. We wanted to provide something beyond just media coverage; we wanted to build a legacy where women who often go overlooked could be seen, heard, and respected.
There’s something powerful in that.

That’s the difference between what we do and what others do. We don’t just feature those who already have a platform. We don’t wait for validation from the mainstream.
We create space for women who may not even recognize their own power yet—because we do.

At Becoming Her Magazine, we feature women who are in their Becoming Her era—women who are building, evolving, and stepping into their greatness. We see them. We celebrate them. We amplify them. That’s why we put them on our covers, share their stories, and elevate their brands. We research, we invest, and we make sure every photoshoot is an experience that enhances their brand and vision.

So to hear that someone—who benefited from our brand, used our resources, and worked with our team beyond the shoot—had the nerve to say they don’t see our value?
It’s a slap in the face to not just us, but to the 300+ women who have trusted us to tell their stories.

But this experience led to a powerful question someone asked my business partner and me:
“You and Jasmine are empowering women, but who is empowering you?”
The Answer? WE ARE.

We empower each other. We empower Becoming Her Magazine. We empower the vision that was placed inside of us to create something bigger than ourselves. And we empower every woman who believes in what we’re building.
Because let’s be clear—we are just getting started.
And for those who don’t see the value now? They will.

Numbers don’t define us—our work does.
Magazine of the Year—twice.
Approaching our two-year anniversary with 300+ stories told.
A luxury media brand that treats every feature like VIP.
We don’t measure success by who validates us—we measure it by how we empower others. And the reality is, not everyone will see the vision before it fully manifests. Some won’t appreciate what we’re building. Some will question the value. But the ones who don't? They’re the ones we are here for.

We’re Not Stopping—We’re Taking Over
If this experience has taught me anything, it’s that we are just getting started. This isn’t a moment—it’s a movement. And if anyone is still questioning the value of Becoming Her Magazine, let me make it plain:
We are the next legacy brand.
We are the future of luxury media for women.
We are amplifying voices, telling stories, and creating spaces where real women are celebrated.

And to those who see the vision? Thank you. For believing, for supporting, and for walking this journey with us. Because when the world fully catches on to what we’re building, those who doubted will wish they had paid attention.
